Emmy Award-Winning TV Comedy Writer Dave Hanson will be coming out with his first Children’s Book, “Fuzzzy Tale,” on November 1st.

Emmy award-winning TV comedy writer Dave Hanson, who’s also written for numerous magazines such as National Lampoon and The New Yorker (and a mosaic artist in his free time), will add children’s book author to his resume when “FuZZZy Tale” comes out on November 1st! The book is inspired by his super fluffy dogs Lambert (a Bolognese) and Dolly (a mix of mini-poodle, Yorkshire Terrier, and Chihuahua — her plucky personality is embodied in the character of the protagonist).

FuZZZy Tale is a charmingly illustrated hardcover book that will make you feel as warm and fuzzy as its characters. It is a joyful combination of clever verse and winsome illustration, which makes it the perfect bedtime picture book to read to your kids or grandkids, ages 4-8. It’s a story of a shy little girl named Dolly whose life changes when she meets Lambert, a happy and wildly fluffy puppy. As they’re settling in for a fun, easy summer, a crisis arises for her little town, in which they must impress the visiting King.

The book is illustrated by Isabella Spadone, a filmmaker, writer, and artist from the seaside of Southern California. She loves telling stories about passionate weirdos and creating art that lifts people up.
